Tailwind CSS
Over the Bank Holiday weekend, I finally had a chance to catch up on some Tailwind action. I'm predominately a backend dev but I've always had the ability to stand up a pretty standard website using either Bulma or Bootstrap. Writing CSS is really not the sort of activity that I'd want to be doing consistently so Tailwind has quickly become my favourite CSS Framework as it removes the need to write tons of CSS.
Everything revolves around a central config file, and styles are all implemented as classes onto elements. Furthermore, the addition of Tailwind plugins on vscode allows for very fast and efficient building, making the whole experience quite simply delicious!
It's still early days for me with Tailwind but I certainly look forward to cracking on with a few more projects and tutorials. It certainly feels like a breath of fresh air over other CSS technologies
If your want to get started, Traversy Media has a simply fantastic introduction to tailwind tutorial, which I've linked below, as well as my GitHub repo with the finished project.
Keep Calm & Carry on Coding
